Community Awareness Remains Our First Line of Defense
Uganda continues to strengthen its response to the Ebola outbreak, with confirmed cases highlighting the importance of vigilance and public awareness. While health authorities work to trace contacts and contain transmission, communities play a critical role in preventing further spread.
Good Cause Foundation has intensified community sensitization activities, reaching households with information about Ebola symptoms, prevention measures, and the importance of early reporting. Our volunteers are conducting awareness sessions and distributing educational materials that help families understand how to protect themselves.
We are encouraged by the willingness of community members to participate in prevention efforts and share information with their neighbors. Continued education remains essential to reducing fear and misinformation.
We thank our donors for supporting these lifesaving activities. Your generosity is helping vulnerable communities stay informed, prepared, and resilient during this public health challenge.
