Having a nation at heart: KIFA
Building students "with their nation at heart" - Kole Intellectual Forum
Through the training of Home Economics, Kole Intellectual Forum is actively showing their students extreme love to their nation – Uganda and also hold responsibility to their nation through service, informed participation, respectful dialogue, building community, and upholding shared values, as well as going beyond just following laws to truly investing in the well-being of their country and fellow citizens.
Kole Intellectual Forum is basically ensuring they involve them deeply into the listening, learning diverse perspectives, serving their community, while using their voices to promote justice and unity, effectively blending personal faith or ethics with civic duty.
The students are trained to,
- Serve & Volunteer: students are trained to dedicate time to help others through volunteering, strengthening the fabric of society.
- Listen & Learn: they are also made to seek out different opinions and engage in deep listening to understand diverse viewpoints within your nation.

Students have reported back to school
By George Obua | Project Leader
The projects of Kole Intellectual Forum both to Empower a Girl: For Self-Reliance and to be Promoting Real Healthy Families: Home Economics; those are mainly suppported by the donors on the Platform of GlobalGiving, in their activities, they tend to link their educational program to that one of Government of Uganda; particularly the school calender. For instance, they always break their students for holidays when the Government aided schools are breaking their students for holidays too and also bring them back them back when they are also coming back to school
This pproach has helped the students to refresh their mind and their ways of thinking. Whenever the come back to they tend to approach the subjects meningful and they usually perform very well.
We are really very grateful to our donors for this noble support to the unbderprevilged daughters of Ugnda.

Usual Assemble: Welcoming students back from Holidays
Observably, in reference to the academic scholars, they have recorded that school holidays had been designed to provide children with a break from their regular routine, allowing them to rest, relax, and engage in activities that support their overall well-being and learning. These holidays also expected to offer an opportunity for them to reduce stress, improve on mental health, and fostering personal development.
for the case of Kole Intellectual Forum – Institute of Home Economics has also adopted and incorporated this learning processes in the study code and it has always been implemented to give time for their students to spend their time with their families and friends, building social skills and relationships; as well as to give them time too to be engaging into other hobbies.
After one month of holidays, term I, students have reported back to the institute on May 30, 2025 and the hold their first assembly on the June 2, 2026.
