Teach 36 children with limited English to read

Dear Donors,

We would like to share that our Literacy Master Map program had a huge success and we cannot wait to start the new 2019-2020 school year. The families and children appreciate every supporter to reach our goals. Ivan’s parents, Kirill’s parents, Kristina’s parents and her grandmother and Alexander’s parents and grandparents sent us a special thank you for very successful results in developing child’s love to read a book.

Reading is important, because it teaches children to listen, to understand the text, and helps the mind grow. It also helps to build child's vocabulary. Our course will focus on the most important aspect of reading – comprehension. The students will associate meaning and understanding with reading. They will make predictions about the text and use picture clues. We will also be working on connecting ideas to what children already know. Students will develop and expand knowledge of words and increase personal vocabulary by listening to a variety of texts. They will also express ideas or opinions in group and individual settings. The students will be exposed to reading, writing, and playing games that are developed for literacy development.

We would like to thank you for your support, and to share our best Literacy Master Map photos 2018-2019 school year. We are absolutely sure that Reading is Fun, and Reading is Fundamental!

Every student has a progress and every student of this program has reached the goals. The most important that our students enjoy this program and remind their parents to go to reading class. For example, Kristina is always happy to complete her task independently. Kirill enjoys reading comprehension activities. Milana wants to be focused during reading story. Alexander likes to learn something new and to read a new book together. Ivan likes fun activities by demonstrating his positive emotions.
