For Patients Like Najah, Dialysis Means Survival

Years of war, displacement, and hardship have left deep scars on countless lives in northern Syria.

For Najah, those hardships slowly destroyed her health.

What began with severe diabetes and vision complications eventually led to kidney failure — forcing her into a painful battle that now depends entirely on regular dialysis sessions to stay alive.

Today, Najah says something we hear often from dialysis patients:

“My soul is attached to this place.”

She is speaking about the dialysis center — the place that gives her another chance to live every week.

Because of your generosity, thousands of free dialysis sessions have been provided to vulnerable patients like Najah over the years.

Your support has allowed SEMA to establish two dialysis centers in Ras Al-Ayn and Kafr Takharim, offering lifesaving treatment to patients who have nowhere else to turn.
