Building Confidence Through Technology

By Nadiana | Support Assistant

Dear Donors and Supporters,

Thank you for your continued commitment to our project, Empowering Youth Leaders for Change. We are pleased to share an update on the progress your support has made possible through our Solve for Change program.

To date, Solve for Change has received applications from 205 youth leaders across diverse communities. Through the program, these applicants gained visibility for their ideas through Solve Education!’s platforms, including project showcases designed to help connect promising youth-led initiatives with potential supporters. Applicants also received proposal feedback to strengthen their ideas and improve their readiness for future funding opportunities.

From this collective group, 9 youth-led initiatives were given direct support to bring their projects to life, together reaching 1,382 learners across different regions. This shared impact demonstrates how youth-led solutions, when supported, can create meaningful change beyond individual projects.

One example of this impact is Inspirational Spring EasyTech, one of our Solve for Change winners in Nigeria. Led by Yusuf Amos Enyojo, the project helps young people gain basic computer literacy and confidence in using technology.

Through weekly sessions in Lokoja, Kogi State, EasyTech introduced students to practical skills such as programming, graphic design, hardware engineering, and data analysis using SQL. With Solve for Change support, the team purchased laptops, provided internet access, and strengthened hands-on learning.

EasyTech is still running and growing, sustained by volunteer effort and personal time. The additional laptops have helped the team work faster and are also being lent to students who need devices for assignments and study, allowing the project to continue supporting young people beyond the initial grant period.

As one learner shared:

“Graphic Design has been a major area of interest to me… I.S EasyTech simplified the knowledge to me and I could now create simple designs with ease.” — Goodness Enyo, 20, Nigeria

Inspirational Spring EasyTech shows how youth-led solutions can create practical, lasting change by expanding access to digital skills and opening new possibilities for young people.

We are grateful to have you as partners in empowering youth leaders and creating lasting, community-driven impact.
