This project continues to demonstrate how agriculture can be used as a powerful tool to improve education, nutrition, and livelihoods simultaneously. By establishing school demonstration gardens and supporting household food production, we are creating opportunities for children and families to learn practical skills while improving their overall well-being.

School gardens are being developed as outdoor learning laboratories where students can gain hands-on experience in sustainable agriculture. Learners are participating in activities such as seedbed preparation, planting, watering, compost production, weeding, and harvesting. These experiences help students understand the importance of agriculture in food production, environmental conservation, and economic development.

At the household level, families are receiving training on how to establish productive gardens that can provide a continuous supply of vegetables, fruits, herbs, beans, and maize. The project is encouraging households to diversify crop production in order to improve dietary diversity and household nutrition.
