Protecting Our Communities: Standing Together Against Ebola
As the new school term resumes tomorrow, many children's hopes and dreams still rest on your generous support. Reflecting on the past term, because of your kindness, we were able to rescue, enroll, and positively impact more than 80 children—both girls and boys.
But today, a new challenge threatens our progress: Ebola. With recent outbreaks putting our communities at risk, we are taking every measure within our reach to help prevent the spread of the virus. We are providing essential necessities such as handwashing stations, sanitizers, thermometers, and protective supplies to schools and vulnerable households. Simple but life-saving actions—like regular hand hygiene, temperature checks, and awareness campaigns—are now part of our daily routine. Our team is also training local volunteers to identify symptoms early and refer suspected cases safely.
We know that stopping Ebola is not just about medical supplies; it's about protecting the same children we fought to bring back to school. A sick child cannot learn. A scared family cannot thrive. With steadfast strength, we hope to do more this term than ever before—not only in education but in safeguarding health and hope.
Thank you for your continued generosity. Together, we are building resilience, preventing disease, and keeping our children alive and learning.
