In the heart of our community, children are not merely victims of child marriage—they are potential agents of change. Yet today, too many girls and boys grow up believing early marriage is inevitable, their voices silenced by tradition and poverty. With minimum resources, we launch the "Nurture 200 Children" campaign to shift this reality by directly changing and empowering children themselves within their own communities.
Our approach moves beyond adult-led interventions. We will establish child empowerment circles for 200 children—both girls and boys—where they learn about their rights, the dangers of child marriage, and how to speak up for themselves and their peers. Through age-appropriate workshops, children will explore topics such as personal boundaries, the risks of early pregnancy, the importance of staying in school, and how to identify trusted adults for support.
Empowered children become peer advocates. They will form child-led awareness clubs within their villages and alongside the local religious center, organizing community dialogues, skits, and door-to-door campaigns to change mindsets from within. Boys will be engaged as allies, learning to respect and protect their sisters' futures. Girls will gain confidence to say "no" to early marriage and report threats.
Simultaneously, we will train local leaders to listen to and collaborate with these empowered children, creating a two-way protection system. Together, children and leaders will shift entrenched norms, ensuring that 200 children grow up not as passive recipients of harm, but as active defenders of their own dignity and dreams. We invite partners to join this child-led movement.
