From Orphaned to Honored: Give a Girl the Wedding She Deserves
In Pakistan, orphaned girls often suffer in silence after losing their parents. Without emotional and financial support, many are denied the chance to marry simply because they cannot afford dowry expenses. What should be a joyful new beginning becomes another painful rejection.
At Moses Welfare Foundation, we believe every orphan girl deserves dignity, love, and a secure future, regardless of her financial condition. Through our Dowry-Free Wedding Project, we arrange respectful marriages for vulnerable orphan girls and provide essential household support so they can begin married life with hope and confidence.
This project is more than organizing weddings. It is restoring dignity, protecting vulnerable girls from isolation and exploitation, and allowing them to build loving families of their own.
Our campaign goal is $78,600. So far, only $284 has been raised from 3 generous donors, leaving $78,316 still needed. Sadly, we have not yet received any new donations since March 2026.
While donations have slowed, the pain and struggles of orphan girls continue every single day.
Behind every number is a real girl waiting for a chance to start her life with respect, security, and happiness. Many orphan girls in Pakistan face emotional hardship, social pressure, and uncertainty about their future. Without parents to support them, marriage becomes nearly impossible because of cultural expectations surrounding dowry. These girls are often left feeling forgotten, helpless, and hopeless.
