Fundacion Camino helps families stay together when a child must travel to Santiago, Chile, for cancer treatment. With a population similar to Florida's, Chile has limited specialized pediatric cancer centers, most of them located in Santiago. For families living far from the capital, a cancer diagnosis often means months away from home and the painful risk of family separation. Fundacion Camino helps keep families together by providing a place to stay, emotional support, transportation, feeding, educational support and the care they need to navigate treatment side by side in a safe and specialized home.
