Fundacion Camino helps families stay together when a child must travel to Santiago, Chile, for cancer treatment. We provide safe housing, emotional support, and a caring community so parents can remain close to their children during one of the most challenging times of their lives. By removing the burden of separation, we help children face treatment with the comfort, strength, and love of their families by their side.
With a population similar to Florida's, Chile has limited specialized pediatric cancer centers, most of them located in Santiago. For families living far from the capital, a cancer diagnosis often means months away from home and the painful risk of family separation. Fundacion Camino helps keep families together by providing a place to stay, emotional support, transportation, feeding, educational support and the care they need to navigate treatment side by side in a safe and specialized home.
Fundacion Camino helps families stay together when a child must travel to Santiago for cancer treatment. We provide a safe place to live, transportation to and from the hospital, nutritious meals, psychological support, occupational therapy, and a caring community. By removing the financial and emotional burden of relocation, we ensure children can go through treatment with the love, stability, and presence of their families every step of the way.
Fundacion Camino helps children and families navigate cancer without facing separation. By providing housing, emotional support, and educational continuity, we help children maintain stability, stay connected to learning, and focus on recovery. Our support reduces stress on families and creates lasting impact through stronger family bonds, improved well-being, and better opportunities for children to thrive long after treatment ends.
