[ENGLISH VERSION] | VERSÃO EM PORTUGUÊS ABAIXO

We are pleased to share that the Ame Sua Mente na Escola (Love Your Mind at School) training program is currently underway in the state of São Paulo, reaching more than 1,600 educators during the first half of the year through partnerships with the State Departments of Education and of Science, Technology and Innovation.

In our previous report, we mentioned that the evaluation results of the 2025 edition of our Mental Health Literacy program would be released during the first half of this year. We are now pleased to share these findings. The study was conducted with educators who participated in the second training cycle in 2025, delivered through a partnership with the School for Training and Development of Education Professionals (EFAPE). The results demonstrate meaningful changes in participants’ perceptions and practices regarding mental health in the school setting:

  • 88.5% agree that welcoming and referring students experiencing mental health challenges is also part of the school's role;
  • 87% believe that mental health promotion initiatives are more feasible than they had previously imagined;
  • 85% identified concrete opportunities for action within their own school communities;
  • 89% reported that the training encouraged them to rethink their self-care and well-being practices.
  • In addition, the Literacy-Based Stigma Reduction Index (IRL-E) increased from 69.37 to 85.78 points, representing a gain of 16.41 percentage points in participants’ knowledge and understanding of mental health.

At the same time, we are undertaking an important initiative to strengthen the program: the redesign of the Mental Health Literacy content within Ame Sua Mente na Escola. This process aims to make the learning experience even more accessible, personalized, and aligned with contemporary educational practices, including the integration of emerging artificial intelligence technologies.

We recognize that the success of online learning depends not only on the quality of the content, but also on the overall learning experience. For this reason, we are reviewing both the pedagogical and technological structure of the course to enhance participant engagement and create an even more transformative learning journey.

Among the key improvements currently under development are:

  • The inclusion of new educational resources, such as interactive multimedia content, gamification elements, and learner engagement tools;
  • The use of artificial intelligence to support the creation of educational materials, including podcasts and infographics;
  • A more intuitive and coherent organization of content and learning pathways;
  • Enhanced instructional design to support understanding and practical application in everyday school settings;
  • Refined language and expanded problem-based learning strategies grounded in real-world educational experiences.

Thank you for being part of this journey. The support of our donors makes it possible to expand access to mental health education for public school educators and contribute to the creation of school environments that are more welcoming, prepared, and supportive of well-being.

  • 88,5% concordam que acolher e encaminhar questões de saúde mental também é papel da escola;
  • 87% consideram que ações de promoção da saúde mental são mais viáveis do que imaginavam;
  • 85% identificaram possibilidades concretas de atuação em suas realidades escolares;

  • Inclusão de recursos didáticos na experiência do cursista, tais como: hipermidias, gamificação e interações;
  • Uso de inteligência artificial para criação de materiais como podcasts e infográficos;
  • Organização mais intuitiva e lógica dos conteúdos e da jornada de aprendizagem;
  • Estruturação didática que favorece a compreensão e a aplicação prática dos conteúdos no cotidiano escolar;
