As part of our ongoing scholarship support and student wellness follow-ups, our team recently visited Brian, a Form Three student at Ngere Secondary School in HomaBay and one of the beneficiaries of our scholarship project.
The visit provided an opportunity to check on his academic progress, understand some of the challenges he continues to face, and explore ways we can further support his educational journey. Throughout the conversation, Brian expressed deep gratitude for the scholarship support, sharing how it has enabled him to stay focused on his studies and continue pursuing his dreams despite financial challenges.
What stood out most during the visit was Brian’s resilience, determination, and positive spirit. His infectious smile and hopeful outlook reflected the impact that access to education and consistent support can have on young people’s lives.
Brian aspires to pursue medicine and become a doctor in the future. His dream is driven by hard work, discipline, and a desire to make a difference in his community. Stories like Brian’s remind us why investing in education is so important. Through the support of our donors and partners, students like Brian are gaining the opportunity to build brighter futures for themselves and their communities.
We are proud of Brian’s progress and look forward to continuing to walk alongside him on his journey.
