For many orphan students affected by crisis, the need for education is closely connected to another deep need: feeling safe again.
At Masarat, we understand that children who have experienced loss, displacement, and uncertainty may carry emotional burdens that are not always visible. Some struggle with fear, sadness, stress, or difficulty expressing what they feel. That is why psychosocial support is an important part of helping them continue their learning journey.
Through a caring and supportive environment, students are encouraged to recognize their feelings, express themselves safely, build healthier relationships, and develop simple skills that help them cope with daily challenges. These moments of support can help a child feel heard, understood, and less alone.
For a child who has lived through hardship, this can be the beginning of healing. A calm conversation, a trusted adult, or a safe space to speak can slowly restore confidence and hope.
Your support helps make this possible.
Because of your generosity, Masarat can continue offering students more than lessons. You help provide care, stability, and emotional support for children who need someone to believe in their ability to heal, learn, and move forward.
Thank you for helping our students feel safe, supported, and hopeful again.
