Volunteering Builds Responsible Hearts

By Abdulrazak Madi | Project Leader

At Masarat, we believe that education is not only about knowledge. It is also about helping students grow with values that guide the way they see themselves, others, and their communities.

Volunteering is one of these values.

When students learn the meaning of volunteering, they begin to understand that giving is not only about doing a task. It is about responsibility, empathy, respect, and the belief that even small actions can make a real difference. For orphan students and young people affected by hardship, this understanding can help them see themselves not only as recipients of support, but also as people capable of contributing to others.

Through student activities, we encourage values such as commitment, honesty, fairness, respect, and protecting the dignity and privacy of others. These are not abstract ideas. They are lessons that help students build character, strengthen their sense of responsibility, and become more aware of the role they can play in their communities.

A student who understands the value of volunteering begins to see change differently. They realize that positive impact does not always require big resources. Sometimes, it begins with a sincere intention, a kind action, or a willingness to serve.

Because of your generosity, students at Masarat can continue growing not only as learners, but as young people who carry values of giving, respect, and responsibility into the world around them.

Thank you for helping us nurture a generation that believes in serving others.
