Thank you for helping kids express themselves and heal
Families from across the country and around the world come to Boston Children’s when they can’t find the care they need for their child near home. At the nation’s premier pediatric hospital and research center, we never stop searching for lifesaving answers and offer expert treatment for rare and complex conditions. Your donations advance breakthroughs, bring comfort to kids during long hospital stays and keep their families strong. One way you can bring joy into the hospital is by supporting our creative arts program.
Art specialists give patients a creative outlet
When a patient is in the hospital, they can miss out on childhood fun like birthdays, holiday traditions and the simple joy of play. The art program at Boston Children’s is one of several programs that aims to bring happiness and positive coping skills to kids, helping them in their fight against illness.
Kids meet with art specialists right at their bedside or in small groups. Every project is child-led, empowering patients during a time when so much can feel out of their control. The sky is the limit for our patients, as they choose from projects like jewelry-making, book publishing, poetry writing, sculpting, video art and more.
Patients and families share that they feel seen, heard and valued after experiencing our arts program. And none of it would be possible without your help. Your generosity helps our patients thrive during the most difficult moments of their lives.
Thank you for helping kids
Your donations fund services that speed healing, let kids be kids and help families when they need it most. Visits from art, music and gaming specialists, therapy dogs and clowns bring smiles and laughter. Thank you for helping turn discoveries into lifesaving treatments and bring hope to our brave patients at Boston Children’s Hospital!
