Studying in Groups introduced at KIFA
In most of the Universities, higher Institutions of learning, including Kole Intellectual Forum (KIFA) – Institute of Home Economics, studying in groups is considered to be that approach that can enhance learning through peer-to-peer teaching, diverse perspectives, and it can as well increase their motivation, while providing them with social support and breaking the monotony of solitary studying.
In the view of the designers of this program (Kole Intellectual Forum), they assumed this approach can help the learners to clarify on the complexities of their learning concepts, while at the same time, reducing procrastination through accountability, and developing essential communication and teamwork skills among them.
For six years now when the approach has been introduced, learners have greatly increased in their performance.
