A Tiny Life Given a Fighting Chance!

By Baraa Ali | Fundraising Officer

Dear Supporter,

Thank you for your compassion and generosity. Because of your support, hundreds of newborns in northern Syria have received the critical medical care they needed to survive, giving their families hope during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

Today, we would like to share the story of baby Issa.

At just two days old, Issa was rushed to Al-Ikhaa Hospital suffering from severe respiratory distress. From his very first days of life, every breath became a struggle, and his condition required immediate medical attention and specialized neonatal care.

For Issa's family, the situation was heartbreaking. Already burdened by poverty and the hardships of life in a conflict-affected region, they were unable to afford the lifesaving treatment their newborn desperately needed. As they watched their tiny child fight for every breath, they feared there was little they could do.

Thanks to supporters like you, Issa was able to receive urgent medical care and continuous monitoring from dedicated healthcare professionals. Your generosity helped provide the treatment, equipment, and specialized support needed to give this fragile newborn a chance to recover and grow stronger.

While Issa's journey is still ongoing, he is receiving the care he needs because compassionate people chose to stand beside vulnerable children and their families during their greatest time of need.

Sadly, Issa is not alone. Across northern Syria, many newborns enter the world facing serious medical complications while their families struggle to access essential healthcare. Every donation helps ensure that these children receive lifesaving treatment and a chance for a healthier future.

Thank you for helping protect the most vulnerable lives. Your kindness is giving newborns like Issa the opportunity to survive, heal, and one day thrive.

With sincere gratitude,
