Your Compassion Helped Restore a Mother's Health!

By Baraa Ali | Fundraising Officer

Dear Supporter,

Thank you for your generosity and unwavering support. Your donations continue to transform lives and provide hope to patients who would otherwise be unable to access critical medical care in northern Syria.

Today, we would like to share the story of a woman in her fifties who arrived at one of SEMA's hospitals suffering from a painful swelling in her neck. For more than two months, she endured increasing discomfort, pressure, and anxiety as her condition worsened, while the cost of treatment remained beyond her family's means.

Thanks to your support, our medical team was able to perform the necessary examinations, including radiological imaging and laboratory tests, to accurately diagnose her condition. After careful evaluation, doctors determined that urgent surgery was required to remove her thyroid gland and prevent further complications.

The operation was successfully completed, and the patient recovered well under medical supervision. What once seemed like an overwhelming health crisis became a story of relief, healing, and renewed hope.

This successful outcome was only possible because compassionate supporters like you chose to stand with patients in need. Your generosity helped provide the diagnostics, surgery, medications, and professional care that gave this woman a second chance at a healthier life.

Yet many others are still waiting. Across northern Syria, countless patients continue to suffer from treatable conditions while struggling to afford essential medical care. Your support remains a lifeline for these vulnerable individuals and families.

Thank you for helping save lives, ease suffering, and bring hope to those facing their most difficult moments. Every donation makes a lasting difference.

With sincere gratitude,
