Your Generosity Helped Save Baby Sereen’s Life
In northern Syria, many newborn babies begin their lives fighting for survival.
One of them was baby Sereen.
Born in a fragile condition, Sereen spent difficult days inside the intensive care unit, connected to a ventilator and later supported by a CPAP machine as doctors fought to keep her breathing.
But because of your compassion, Sereen was given the care she desperately needed.
Your donations helped provide specialized neonatal treatment, including surfactant doses, continuous monitoring, and essential nutrition that slowly strengthened her tiny body day after day.
And then came the moment her parents feared they might never see…
Sereen finally left the incubator and was held in her parents’ arms for the very first time.
This moment was possible because of you.
Your support did not only fund medical care.
It gave a newborn child the chance to live.
It gave parents hope instead of heartbreak.
It reminded struggling families that they are not alone.
But many more premature and critically ill babies are still arriving at our hospitals every day, urgently needing life-saving care.
