Imagine surviving a devastating fall… then facing unbearable pain with no access to treatment.
This was Walida’s reality.
Walida, a courageous woman in her sixties, suffered a serious leg fracture after falling from a dangerous height in northern Syria. Every movement was painful. Every hour without treatment made her condition worse.
But because of your generosity, Walida was not left alone.
She arrived at SEMA Hospital, where our medical teams acted immediately. After urgent examinations, doctors confirmed a severe fracture in her lower leg and rushed her into surgery. Using specialized medical plates and fixation screws, the team successfully stabilized her injury and relieved her suffering.
Today, Walida is recovering — because people like you chose to care.
Your support did more than fund a surgery.
It restored hope.
It eased pain.
It reminded one vulnerable woman that humanity still exists.
