Recently, SEMA’s medical team met Islam, a young girl living in a displacement camp under extremely difficult circumstances. Like many children in the camps, she faced severe malnutrition caused by poor living conditions, limited access to clean water, and the lack of adequate nutrition and healthcare.

For families already struggling with displacement and poverty, accessing medical treatment is often impossible due to distance, cost, and the overwhelming daily challenges they face. Without timely intervention, children like Islam remain at serious risk.

Recognizing the urgency of her condition, our team immediately began providing the treatment and nutritional support she needed. Through regular follow-up visits, continuous monitoring, and dedicated medical care, Islam gradually regained her strength and health. What was once a critical and life-threatening condition became a story of recovery and hope.

Her improvement was only possible because of supporters like you.
