Dear Supporter,
Because of your compassion, baby Wissam is now back home with his family.
Just two hours after his birth, Wissam began struggling to breathe due to severe respiratory distress. His condition was critical, and he urgently needed specialized medical care to survive. Doctors at Al-Ikhaa Hospital acted immediately, transferring him to the neonatal intensive care unit where he received the treatment and monitoring he desperately needed.
Today, we are grateful to share that Wissam’s condition has improved significantly, and he has successfully been discharged from the hospital.
For his family, this means more than recovery — it means hope, relief, and the chance to finally hold their newborn without fear.
In northern Syria, many families face impossible circumstances and cannot afford life-saving medical treatment for their children. Your generosity ensures that newborns like Wissam receive urgent care regardless of their families’ financial situation.
Every contribution you make helps provide critical medical equipment, emergency treatment, and specialized neonatal care for vulnerable babies fighting for their lives.
Thank you for standing with Syrian families during their most difficult moments and for helping give children like Wissam a healthy start in life.
With heartfelt gratitude,
