Dear Donors,
During one of our humanitarian visits to the Youth Shelter Camp in Sudan's Red Sea State, we met an elderly couple living alone in a small shelter under extremely difficult conditions. Both suffer from health problems associated with age, while the shortage of food and limited access to medical care have further weakened their condition.
The husband suffers from chronic fatigue and difficulty moving, while his wife struggles with recurring health issues that require regular medical attention. Due to the lack of income and the high cost of basic necessities, the couple often finds themselves unable to secure sufficient food for several consecutive days.
Through your generous support, we were able to provide a hot meal for the couple, helping them meet one of their most urgent needs. The relief on their faces reminded us how important even a simple meal can be for those living through such hardship.
For vulnerable elderly people, a nutritious meal provides strength, comfort, and a sense of dignity during difficult times.
We extend our sincere gratitude to all donors whose generosity continues helping vulnerable families throughout Sudan.
