Dear Donors,
During one of our visits to the Youth Shelter Camp in Sudan's Red Sea State, we met two orphaned siblings who are living without a breadwinner and facing extremely difficult circumstances. The children rely on occasional assistance from neighbors and relatives, but this support is often insufficient to meet their daily needs.
The effects of prolonged hunger and poor nutrition were clearly visible. Both children appeared physically weak and vulnerable to illness. Limited access to healthcare services and nutritious food has placed their health and development at serious risk. Despite these hardships, the siblings continue to support one another and face each day with remarkable resilience.
Through your generous donations, we were able to provide a hot meal for the two children, helping meet an urgent need and bringing a moment of comfort and happiness into their lives. For a brief time, the worries of hunger were replaced by smiles and gratitude.
For orphaned children facing hunger and uncertainty, even a single meal can provide strength, hope, reassurance, and a reminder that they are not forgotten.
We are deeply grateful to all donors whose compassion continues making it possible to reach vulnerable children and families across Sudan.
