Dear Donors,
During our recent outreach in the Youth Shelter Camp in Sudan's Red Sea State, our team met a family living under extremely difficult conditions. The family consists of a father, mother, and two young children who have been struggling with severe food shortages for many months as a result of displacement, poverty, and the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
The parents explained that the lack of regular meals and limited access to healthcare had begun affecting the children's health. Both children showed signs of weakness, fatigue, and recurring illness. Their mother shared that there were days when the family survived on very little food, making it impossible for the children to receive the nutrition their growing bodies desperately needed.
Upon visiting the family, we provided a hot meal sufficient for all family members. The meal brought immediate relief and allowed the children to enjoy nutritious food after a long period of hardship. The parents expressed their gratitude and relief knowing that their children would go to sleep with full stomachs that day.
For families facing hunger and illness, a warm meal is more than food—it is comfort, strength, dignity, and hope.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all donors whose generosity made this support possible and helped us reach vulnerable families in Sudan.
