Support street girls and teen/pre-teen mothers.

Hi everyone!

With summer already here, I hope everyone is taking a break.

Currently Centre Marembo is trying to make a new strategy with how today’s world climate has changed drastically in these past few years, trying to see what activities and projects we can run with such limited received funds. Searching and applying for grants and funds are getting limited and there are some NGOs who have permanently closed, despite the amazing work and what their mission is all about.

The year 2025 wasn’t the smoothest year for everyone, but the same could be said the previous ones; yet, we ALL persevered through these tough obstacles.

While some projects’ activities are limited, here are what currently running:

1. Early Childhood Development Center, with almost 30 pre-school aged children enrolled from the 2025 beginning school term.
2. Agro-pastoral project, we will be planning to do a partnership in order to grow various crops and fruits but also allow vulnerable young women and teen mothers to earn an income
3. Marembo Health Post:It is a new initiative similar to Imirasire Youth Clinic but registered under a different set of regulations. A nurse will be present to provide consultation at affordable price and is only limited to test and treat certain common illnesses; the nurse can also refer patients for further care or medical tests at the clinic or a hospital.

We also want to re-start the chicken coop farm (hopefully this year) in order to fight malnutrition that many children are suffering by providing them eggs in their meals.

Times are tough right now but we are still aim to help the children, young women and teen moms.
