We extend our deepest gratitude to our generous supporters and the GlobalGiving team for making this project possible. Through your contributions, we have so far received $126, which has enabled us to provide practical training in liquid and solid soap production to school children, young mothers, and members of the wider community.
The funds were used to purchase essential ingredients, containers, protective equipment, and training materials. Participants actively engaged in hands-on sessions where they learned the complete soap-making process, including measuring ingredients, mixing, packaging, quality control, and basic marketing skills.
As part of the training, participants produced soap that was distributed to 20 households. Families are now using the products for handwashing and household cleaning, contributing to improved hygiene and disease prevention. The training has also inspired several participants to begin producing soap independently as a source of income.
This project is helping us build a sustainable children's SACCO where proceeds from future soap sales can support vulnerable learners with school supplies and educational needs. Thank you for helping us empower children with practical skills, confidence, and hope for a brighter future.
