Our Children are back to the to center full of energy and lots of expectation for the year 2014. Many of them are moving to new classes and others are joining school for the first time, you can see hope and excitement on their faces.
The new ones have already been admitted to their respective classes and those joining high school are waiting for letters of admission.
During the chrismas break some renovations were done to their house with a pation put in thier dining area to shield them from winds blowing during the rain season that is about to start here.
Again we continue to thank you for your past support as we look forward to another exciting season of 2014 together making the lives of children better.
Thank You

Getting Ready For Christmas
By Eric Mochoge | Project Leader
Christmas is approaching and with its coming are equal excitements and anticipations by our children as they finish their end of term and year examinations.
The exams are a very important aspect in thier current level, as many expect to move to the next level grade and so they are currently busy preparing for their examinations.
Some of the Children will be going home for a chrismas break, they will have a time to meet with thier cousins, uncles and unties many of whom are in other towns and only come home during chrismas time and so it's a good family time that only comes once in a year. They expect to learn a lot from shared experinces and exchange of goodies and gifts brought to them. It will be a good time says Anyas, one of our children looking forward to meet with her cousins who will be home during chrismas.
However there are those that will not go home since they do not know or have close relatives, they will be spending time in the centre. CRK organises for Chrismas party at the centre for them.
Once again we thank our supporters for giving a chance to our children to pursue life opportunities by your contributions.
Thank you so much.

Parents taken to Agricultural Show to Learn
Child Rescue Kenya Holistic approach in adressing issues that have led children to go to the streets includes;
- Bulding of relationships with families aimed at creating an environment that will eventually be comfortable for children to settle at home following up to ensure that emerging issues are settled on time and creation of supportive linkages with family communities,
- Family economic empowerment via techinical support in small scale farming for food security. CRK has facilitated on many occasions trainings that include visiting the agricultural shows within Kitale. Tremendous results have been reported and children reunited with their families.
CRK continues to rely on your support to carry out this noble work and calls upon you to contibute towards these goals especially now when Global Giving has matching funds to add to every cent raised via Global giving.
Once again thank you for your kind donations.
