Every day, thousands of women around the world face childbirth without access to the basic supplies needed for a safe delivery. In many underserved communities across Nigeria, mothers often give birth without sterile gloves, clean sheets, disinfectants, or essential hygiene materials. This lack of resources contributes to preventable infections, complications, and, tragically, maternal and newborn deaths.
Our project, Provide Safe Childbirth Kits to 1,000 Mothers in Nigeria, aims to change this reality. Each childbirth kit contains critical supplies that help create a cleaner and safer environment for delivery. These simple items can significantly reduce the risk of infection and improve survival outcomes for both mothers and babies.
