Dear Friend,
Development Alert proudly celebrates a significant environmental milestone-planting 14,000 trees in partnership with communities across Eastern Uganda. This achievement reflects our shared commitment to restoring degraded landscapes, combating climate change, and promoting sustainable livelihoods.
Working hand-in-hand with local communities, schools, and leaders, this initiative has focused on planting both indigenous and fast-growing tree species suited to the region. These efforts are helping to rebuild ecosystems, improve soil fertility, and provide long-term environmental and economic benefits.
Key Impact Highlights
Beyond the numbers, this milestone represents strengthened community ownership and growing awareness of environmental conservation. Trees play a critical role in carbon sequestration, water cycle regulation, and biodiversity support-making this initiative a vital step toward climate resilience.
We extend our gratitude to all community members, partners, and you the supporters who contributed to this achievement. Your dedication continues to drive meaningful change.
As we celebrate this progress, we remain focused on scaling up our efforts to reach even more communities. Together, we can build greener landscapes, healthier ecosystems, and a more sustainable future for Eastern Uganda.
