The Nairobi Hospital is a prestigious hospital in Kenya, it was first built in 1952 for white settlers and grew post-independence especially in the 1970s when it cared for the ailing first President of Kenya Jomo Kenyatta. The school of nursing where Ombisa now studies was opened in 1956. Alumni from the school now work as nurses across Kenya and in Botswana, South Africa, Australia, America and the UK.
The school's impressive track record is achieved through rigorous training, Ombisa is now back in class after a very brief break for Christmas. He continues to keep up with the packed schedule and is enjoying student life in the school. Certainly the future looks bright for Ombisa and he is working hard to make the most of thsi opportunity. On his behalf, thank you to all those who have supported him to get this far.
