As part of our humanitarian efforts in southern Türkiye, we provided financial assistance to help cover the cost of medical examinations and necessary medications for a child living on the outskirts of Mersin city.
The child was among those affected by the devastating earthquake that struck southern Türkiye in 2023, an event that left deep physical and emotional scars on countless families.
As a result of the earthquake, the child suffered an injury that affected his left leg, leaving him in need of continuous medical follow-up, examinations, and treatment to help ease his pain and improve his condition.
Today, the family continues struggling with difficult financial circumstances while trying to provide the medical care their child urgently needs.
Through this humanitarian support, the child was able to receive important medical examinations and obtain the medications required for his condition, helping relieve part of the burden carried by his family during these painful circumstances.
Our teams continue witnessing how even simple medical support can make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families still suffering from the consequences of disasters and displacement.
This assistance represents more than financial support alone — it is a message of compassion, solidarity, and hope for families trying to rebuild their lives after tragedy.
