Thank You for Supporting Women's Wellbeing and Resilience

By Yasmina | Project Leader

Dear Supporter,

Thank you for your continued generosity and commitment to supporting women facing extraordinary challenges. Your support is helping create spaces where women can pause, reflect, and begin prioritizing their own wellbeing without guilt.

The day following the previous session, the same sixteen women returned, and the atmosphere in the room had noticeably changed — it felt calmer, more open, and more honest.

This session focused on self-care, beginning with an important conversation about the guilt many women feel when thinking about themselves. For women who have spent years carrying entire households alone, raising children through hardship, and holding families together through loss and uncertainty, self-care can feel unfamiliar or even undeserved. The session delivered a clear message: caring for themselves is not selfish — it is necessary.

Together, the group explored four key areas of self-care:

  • Physical wellbeing
  • Emotional wellbeing
  • Professional growth
  • Spiritual wellbeing

The discussion centered on realistic and practical ways women can care for themselves within difficult daily realities, rather than idealized circumstances.

Through an interactive activity, participants were also encouraged to reflect on their personal strengths, asking themselves what they are capable of and what skills they already possess. Several women left the session visibly surprised by the strengths they recognized within themselves.

These moments of self-recognition and confidence are deeply meaningful steps toward rebuilding resilience, dignity, and hope.

Your support is making these experiences possible and helping women rediscover their own value and potential.

With sincere appreciation,
