Children are paying the highest price in Nigeria’s growing hunger crisis. Humanitarian reports estimate that millions of children across northern Nigeria are at risk of acute malnutrition this year.
Malnutrition affects every aspect of a child’s development. It weakens the immune system, increases vulnerability to disease, impairs learning, and can have lifelong consequences if not addressed early. For many families struggling with food insecurity, accessing nutritious meals has become nearly impossible.
Empower Future Initiative is committed to supporting vulnerable children through nutrition assistance, food distributions, referrals for medical care, and community awareness programs focused on child health and nutrition.
