Across many communities, young people who learn they are HIV-positive often feel isolated and hopeless. Instead of finding support, they face stigma that pushes them away from school. Once out of the classroom, they miss out on life-saving knowledge: how to manage their health, access treatment, and protect others from infection. Without this education, many youth—both boys and girls—unknowingly contribute to the spread of the virus among their peers, deepening the crisis.
Your support can change that reality. We are launching inclusive programs that keep HIV-positive youth—especially adolescents—engaged in school and connected to care. Through mentorship, youth-friendly health sessions, and peer-led discussions, young people learn to live confidently with the virus. Boys and girls together receive accurate information on antiretroviral therapy, safe behaviors, and how to break cycles of transmission and shame.
Staying in school gives them more than a diploma—it gives them the power to protect themselves, their partners, and their community. With your partnership, we can replace fear with knowledge, isolation with solidarity, and silence with action. Let’s stand with every young person facing HIV and ensure they have the tools to build a healthier future for all.
