Your generosity has directly helped us reduce the number of girls dropping out of school due to a lack of basic necessities. During our recent outreach, we met girls who had never seen a menstrual sanitary pad before—because buying them had always felt like a luxury their families could not afford. Many were using rags, leaves, or staying home during their periods, falling behind in class until eventually leaving school altogether. The same was true for school supplies: no books, no pens, no way to fully participate in learning.
Thanks to you, we have been able to provide both educational materials and sanitary pads to these girls. For many, it was the first time they held a new notebook or understood what a safe, dignified period could look like. Already, attendance is improving, and girls who were on the verge of dropping out are returning to class with confidence.
