Empowering Women as Health Champions
Women often serve as caregivers and play a critical role in protecting family health. Good Cause Foundation is engaging women leaders and caregivers in Ebola awareness activities to ensure they have the knowledge and tools needed to support prevention efforts.
Training sessions are equipping women with information about symptom recognition, hygiene practices, and safe caregiving approaches. Participants are sharing this knowledge with family members and neighbors, expanding the reach of community education.
The leadership shown by women in these activities has strengthened local preparedness and encouraged greater community participation in prevention efforts.
We thank our donors for investing in community-based solutions. Your support empowers women to become health champions and helps create safer environments for families across Uganda.
