Empowering Local Volunteers in the Ebola Response
Local volunteers are playing an important role in Uganda's efforts to prevent Ebola transmission. Through donor support, Good Cause Foundation has been able to engage and equip community volunteers with knowledge and resources needed to raise awareness within their communities.
These volunteers are educating families about proper hygiene practices, recognizing symptoms, and seeking medical attention quickly when needed. Their work is helping to strengthen trust between communities and health authorities.
By empowering local leaders and volunteers, we are building a stronger network of community protection. The dedication shown by these volunteers demonstrates the power of grassroots action in responding to health emergencies.
Thank you for supporting our efforts to protect lives and strengthen community preparedness.
