Urgent Appeal for Support as Ebola Cases Increase
Project Report Update
The Ebola outbreak affecting Uganda continues to require urgent attention and coordinated action. Recent reports indicate a rise in confirmed cases, underscoring the need for continued vigilance and investment in response efforts. Health authorities and partners are working around the clock to contain transmission and protect communities.

The Bundibugyo strain responsible for the outbreak has no licensed vaccine, making community prevention, rapid diagnosis, and supportive treatment especially important. Public education remains one of the strongest defenses against the spread of the disease.
