Protecting Vulnerable Families During Uganda's Ebola Outbreak
Project Report Update
The recent increase in Ebola cases has placed additional pressure on vulnerable families, particularly those already facing economic hardship. Fear of infection, movement restrictions, and disruptions to livelihoods are affecting thousands of people across affected communities.

Our organization is prioritizing support for vulnerable households by sharing accurate health information, promoting preventive practices, and connecting families to available health services. Special attention is being given to children, persons with disabilities, and women-headed households who often face greater challenges during public health emergencies.
While health workers continue to manage cases and trace contacts, community-based organizations remain essential in reaching households with lifesaving information and support.
