Our Manager-in-Training Program continues to empower students with new job opportunities and job shadowing experiences that build their career potential. With our MiT Program, students sign up to join an exclusive three-day job shadow with Secura Insurance, visiting different departments and getting a hands-on look at the various skills and strategies used in the professional workplace from a managerial side.
This year we have received over 10 student applications, which we had to narrow down to half for our program. Each of these students show promise and potential, from using web-design and animation to support mission-driven organizations, to cybersecurity specialists looking to grow their career. Moreover, students that participate in this program have the opportunity to work for Secura around the end, making a good enough impression to potentially become full-time employers when the time is right.
We're looking forward to seeing what our student's will accomplish. Next year, we plan to reshape MiT into something new and innovative, that can allow for a better spread of students with job shadowing opportunities across the state of Wisconsin.
