Support Orphans and Families in Gaza & Syria

As summer temperatures continue to rise across the Gaza Strip, access to clean drinking water has become one of the most urgent challenges facing displaced families living in camps throughout northern Gaza. Ongoing damage to water infrastructure, severe shortages of fuel and electricity, and the lack of functioning water networks have left thousands of vulnerable families struggling to secure enough safe water for drinking and cooking.

In response to this growing humanitarian need, our team has continued its weekly drinking water distribution program across several displacement camps in northern Gaza, including Al-Bassa Camp, Abu Jameela Camp, Al-Zaytoun Camp, and other nearby sites hosting large numbers of displaced people.

For many families, these water deliveries represent their primary source of safe drinking water. Parents often spend hours searching for water, while children endure long days in extreme heat with limited access to clean and healthy supplies. The situation becomes even more critical during the summer months, when high temperatures increase the risk of dehydration and waterborne diseases.

Through this intervention, we are helping families access clean water suitable for drinking and food preparation, reducing some of the daily hardships they face and protecting the health of children, elderly people, and other vulnerable community members. Each delivery provides immediate relief and helps families preserve their dignity in the midst of an ongoing humanitarian crisis.

The scenes witnessed during distributions reflect the severity of the need. Families gather with containers and buckets, waiting patiently for water that has become increasingly scarce. Despite the difficult circumstances, these distributions bring a sense of reassurance and hope to communities that continue to endure displacement and uncertainty.
