Dear Donor
In a corner of Kufra Camp in northern Syria, where rows of simple tents stretch across the landscape and stories of hardship are shared by many families, lives the orphaned child Majed, who lost his father during the years of conflict. At a very young age, he was forced to face challenges far beyond what any child should endure. Amid displacement, poverty, and the rising cost of living, his mother struggles every day to provide even the most basic necessities for her children.
Majed, whose eyes still reflect the innocence and dreams of childhood, faces a reality marked by deprivation and uncertainty. As humanitarian conditions continue to deteriorate in the camps, families who have lost their primary breadwinner remain among the most vulnerable, making humanitarian assistance a true lifeline.
Thanks to the generosity of compassionate donors, our team was able to provide a financial sponsorship for the orphaned child Majed, helping his family meet some of their essential needs, including food, clothing, and other daily necessities. This sponsorship was far more than financial support; it was a message of hope delivered to a child who has lost so much, reminding him that he is not forgotten and that there are people who care about his well-being and future.
The assistance had an immediate positive impact on the family, enabling Majed’s mother to address urgent needs that had weighed heavily on her for months and easing part of the burden she faces while raising her children under extremely difficult circumstances.
The situation of orphaned children in displacement camps continues to require sustained support and care. They remain among the most vulnerable victims of ongoing crises, and through sponsorship programs such as this one, we can help restore dignity, stability, and hope to their lives.
We extend our deepest gratitude to all generous donors who contributed to supporting Majed and many other orphaned children. Your kindness makes it possible for humanitarian aid to reach those who need it most and helps create brighter futures for vulnerable families.
