In Kafrah Camp in northern Syria, where hundreds of displaced families live under difficult humanitarian and economic conditions, orphaned children face additional challenges due to the loss of their primary provider and the limited resources available to meet their basic needs.
Among these children is Moataz, an orphaned boy living with his family in the camp. His family struggles daily to secure essential necessities amid scarce employment opportunities and rising living costs. These circumstances have made meeting basic needs an ongoing burden for the household.
Thanks to your generous donations, our team was able to provide financial sponsorship to Moataz, helping his family cover part of their essential expenses, including food, clothing, and other daily necessities. This support brought much-needed relief to the family and helped ease some of the pressures they face.
Financial sponsorships provide more than material assistance. They deliver an important message of care and solidarity, helping orphaned children feel supported and valued despite the hardships they endure. They also enable families to create a more stable environment for their children and focus on their well-being and development.
Our field team witnessed the positive impact of this sponsorship on Moataz and his family. It brought them a sense of reassurance and hope, restoring a measure of stability that every child deserves in order to grow up with dignity and security.
We extend our sincere gratitude to all donors and supporters who made this sponsorship possible. Because of your generosity, we continue to reach orphaned children across northern Syria, providing support that eases hardship, restores hope, and helps them face the future with greater confidence and optimism.
