Stability is not only about having a home or a source of income—it is an emotional need that every child requires in order to grow in a healthy way.
When a child grows up in an environment shaped by displacement, fear, or the absence of basic needs, normal life becomes something distant. They do not know whether food will be available tomorrow, whether they will remain in the same place, or what the next day will bring.
This constant instability affects a child’s personality, self-confidence, emotional development, and ability to learn.
Humanitarian support cannot solve everything, but it can help restore part of that lost stability and create moments of safety in a child’s life.
