In humanitarian crises, suffering is not limited to the loss of food or shelter—it often extends to invisible wounds carried deep inside children. A child growing up in displacement, poverty, or fear does not only lose a sense of security, but may also lose an important part of their childhood.
Many children living in fragile environments grow up carrying feelings of anxiety, fear, and instability. They face emotional pressures far beyond their young age, and these effects may not always be visible immediately, yet they can leave a deep impact on their emotional and psychological development.
When a child receives food, care, and support, we are not only meeting physical needs—we are also helping restore a sense of safety and emotional comfort.
